Description

The second Aries New Moon (conjunct the North Node) forms part of a T square opposite the South Node and square Pluto in Aquarius. It was visible from South/East Europe, Much of Asia, Australia, Africa, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean and Antarctica. The Cosmos underlines the intensity of the energy with a Grand Finale explosion of multi-coloured fireworks – a total Solar Eclipse thrown in for good measure. At other times, the moon only partially passes through the Earth's shadow in what is known as a partial, or even penumbral lunar eclipse (when the moon only skirts through the outermost region of Earth's shadow). The New Moon is conjunct Jupiter in Aries, adding to the expansive nature of this New Moon – and vitally contributing a keener awareness of the importance of justice and philosophical thought.

The New Moon in Aries, Total Eclipse and the Ingress of the Sun and Moon into Taurus are all within hours of each other. Therefore, the dates of the equinoxes and solstices can shift by a day or two over time, which causes the start dates of the seasons to shift over time, too.

Occasionally, the moon's orbit lines up with the sun in such a way that part or all of the sun can be blocked by the moon, as viewed from Earth. Using magnetic levitation technology, the realistic globe will project "moonlight" as it floats and spins in mid-air. Moon Calendars MOON Poster 2024 Follow the Sun and Moon's daily movements with our stunning A2 wall poster.Mercury, conjunct Uranus in Taurus and sextile Mars, brings increased energy for communication on all levels, outbreaks of rebellion against unfair practices – and a change in the quality of communications. So, as the Earth orbits the Sun over the 12 months of the year, different parts of Earth get the Sun’s direct rays. And sometimes — once in a blue moon— the moon is full twice in a month (or four times in a season, depending on which definition you prefer). It can sometimes feel like winter is dragging on forever, but did you know that winter is the shortest season of the year?
