While the history books are filled with tales of obsessive visionary geniuses who remade the world in their image with sheer, almost irrational force, I've found that history is also made by individuals who fought their egos at every turn, who eschewed the spotlight, and who put their higher goals above their desire for recognition. Imran Khan comes as a different person to different people: Proud; Inspiring; Arrogant; Obsessive; Stubborn; and even Hypocrite. In “All Round View,” Imran Khan reflects on his life journey, encompassing his cricketing career, philanthropic endeavors, and political ambitions.

When Pakistan became independent, we should have rid ourselves of these English medium schools,’ Khan sermonises and then adds, ‘ in other post-colonial countries such as Singapore, India and Malaysia, they set up one core syllabus for the whole country. He also collected the cricketing sources from different cricket administrations, Cricinfo and county clubs. Throughout we see these events viewed not only through the eyes of Westerners, but through those of ordinary Pakistanis. Of the five featured stars on the cover, a superbly hirsute 21-year-old wearing a tight black shirt and gaudy trousers, with a facial expression of supreme self-confidence, stood out.

Many of the incidents and quotations have been picked from various books including Imran’s The Autobiography, All-Round View and Indus Journey, plus various books written on/by Botham, Miandad, Atherton, Sobers and Parvez Musharraf. I would also recommend it to anyone confused about Islam to the outsider one doesn’t know what Islam is because on the one extreme there are various fundamentalist groups at war with themselves as much as against the West or the spiritual saints of the Sufi tradition who seem above all worldly and political affairs. What a pity, then, that despite the clearly worthy efforts of Amerit Deu the reading of the book is a real obstacle.I have been following IK ‘s political career for last 18 months and followed his cricketing career for longer . I would recommend this book to anyone confused about the various players in Pakistan and Afghanistan. A very Bold, sensational and a shocking read of probably one of the most famous cricketer of all time.

Imran Khan: A Personal Memoir” offers an intimate account of Imran Khan’s life, spanning his early days as a cricketer to his transformation into a political leader. Imran Khan, former cricket celebrity, philanthropist and turned politician, seems to have changed the decorum of Pakistan’s botched-up political landscape. Now with the revelation that Pakistan has been the hiding place of Osama bin Laden for several years, that relationship can only grow more strained.

Imran Khan’s books continue to inspire and inform readers worldwide, leaving a lasting impact on those who seek a deeper understanding of Pakistan and its future. The biggest casualty of this political and social homicide are the ordinary citizens who are left to struggle with appalling economic conditions and a system sorely in need of repair. He is quite naive and unable to judge certain dubious characters around him and this is one of the hindrance in achieving his goals at present. It is also IK’s biography and gives an insight into his personality, trials and tribulations of his life .Two of Khan’s ‘ overzealous cousins almost ambushed, shot and killed two innocent people, mistaking them for Indian paratroopers. He talked about his relationship with his ex-wife, Jemima Khan, and the "hate campaign" built around him.
