Description

If you've used a Razer keyboard before, especially the Huntsman Tournament Edition, you'll recognize the Razer look and feel, and the software advantages. Honestly, even if this keyboard made us better at games we wouldn't even notice because it's not like we were any good to begin with. It has doubleshot PBT keycaps that feel nice to type on; however, the stabilizers could be better, as there's a bit of wobbling and rattling.

Otherwise, the Razer is a better choice if you like compact boards that give you more room on your desk to move your mouse, and it supports macro creation, while the ROCCAT doesn't. On the other hand, the Razer is a wired-only unit that only uses Razer's proprietary Optical switches.Do away with rigid 8-way WASD movement for FPS and racing games with switches capable of smooth 360-degree motion inputs just like analog joysticks and thumbsticks. The Mini is a compact 60% keyboard, while the V3 is full-sized and comes with a wrist rest and dedicated media keys. With the ability to reset keys at the slightest lift of a finger, you’ll experience an advantage in speed that is especially useful for genres such as first-person shooters and rhythm games. The Purple switches feel incredibly responsive due to their low pre-travel distance, and they provide distinct tactile feedback. Ultimate Personalization and Gaming Immersion with Razer Chroma: Fully syncs with popular games, Razer hardware, Philips Hue, and gear from 30 partners; supports 16.

By pushing down the fn key in combination with one of these keys, you can do everything from using the arrow keys, to changing lighting brightness and managing media. The Razer feels sturdier, has multiple incline options, better backlighting, and exceptionally low latency. Note that some games might disable any input from the standard keyboard keys and the mouse when an analog input device is detected. Ultimately, though, the Huntsman Mini stands apart because it comes with the many unique gaming-focused features that Razer builds into some of its other keyboards, including an updated version of Razer's optical switches. We obviously don't have time to test if these labels will wear off over time, but at least Razer has something in place to try and avoid it happening.

With that in mind, a growing number of gamers are putting aside their feature-laden, full-size gaming keyboards for smaller ones. As we've discussed in past reviews, Razer makes some claims about the advantages of these switches that we can't substantiate via anecdotal testing; we'd need specialized, esoteric equipment. All keys function properly on Linux, but since there's no software support for Linux, customization options are limited. On the other hand, the Fnatic is only available with the linear feel, but there are two options: Cherry MX Silent Red switches and Kailh Speed Silver switches. Doubleshot PBT Keycaps with side-printed secondary functions for a premium, textured quality: Designed for greater durability, they’ll never degrade to a shiny finish or have their labelling wear off with intense use.For the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro line, you are able to activate Rapid Trigger Mode without Razer Synapse active with the hot-key FN + CAPS. The Razer Huntsman Mini and the HyperX Alloy Origins share many similarities but are also very different. It isn't the most comfortable to type on as it doesn't come with a wrist rest, and the small form factor can feel a bit cramped for some. The Ducky still has macro-programmable keys, it's just that you have to customize it directly on the keyboard.

Pay in 3 is a form of credit, may not be suitable for everyone and use may affect your credit score. It's a popular habit among pro and competitive players who want a more comfortable, ergonomic setup for gaming. The Razer Huntsman Mini and the ROYAL KLUDGE RK61 are compact keyboards designed for different uses. The casing on this 60% gaming keyboard is robust enough to withstand long hours of intense, regular use and has a clean matte finishing. The Razer Huntsman Mini and the Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition are similar keyboards with outstanding gaming performance.
