To add to your travel cot and to keep your little one as comfortable as possible when they're away from home, have a look at our beautiful range of baby sleeping bags. Children can also sleep in a travel cot from birth up until about three years, but it is always best to check the manufacturer’s guidance. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. With a mattress able to sit flush to the base, even the most determined toddler will be kept secure from injury whilst playing. It's a safe and comfortable place for your baby to take a nap or play while you're busy with other tasks.

Parent tester Cali, who tested the CoZee Go with her 13-month-old son Teddy, really loved the style and quality of the travel cot: "There are cheaper travel cot and playpen options out there but they don't look as stylish or high quality. For cosy bedding inspiration, take a look at our list – tried and tested by real parents and their kids. Made of breathable mesh with a padded mattress included, the Slumber has three distinct uses as a bedside co-sleeper, travel cot and playpen. For frequent travellers they can be as familiar to little ones as their regular bed; helping to aid sleep in a different environment. One parent tester said, “It feels secure, with the side bars locking in place, and is sturdy enough to accommodate a lively toddler. I was actually very surprised when my older son hopped in the cot to play with his toys and actually seemed to fit in quite nicely - which he still does whenever it’s out. deep, putting it on a par with most travel cot mattresses but perhaps not up there with the likes of the Bugaboo Stardust.

Think about how often you’re going to use it, and if you’ll be lifting it up and down stairs or in and out of a car. The mattress could do with some more padding but it’s an attractive, functional cot that’s sturdy too. I loved that this felt like it would be comfortable for my baby especially when going away for a few weeks. I am like you though and don't want to put him on it until I get a mattress but we're going center parcs on Mon aragh! This design means there's no weight limit, a real plus point for parents with heavier-than-average toddler. As it is quite lightweight, it’s only suitable for children up to 15kg and you’ll need to stop using it once your little one has the ability to climb. Showcasing our biggest travel cot innovation since Graco®’s original Pack ‘N Play® was released over 30 years ago. Not only are they a flexible sleeping arrangement for babies to toddlers, but they also offer a safe space for when your baby is on the move.

We love that the crib has 6 adjustable heights to better help it align the barrier of the crib to the parents' mattress — this is particularly useful if you're travelling and staying in different places. It’s compact and lightweight, meaning it can be easily moved from room to room and transported in its handy carry bag. You might just need to be sure you have a sizeable hotel room as this is essentially normal cot size once it is put up.The brand known for stylish baby products won't disappoint parents on the go, with a sleek silhouette, premium-feeling fabrics and excellent functionality. As far as sleeping goes we had no issues with getting the littles to settle in the cot and I think they liked that they could see one another. You set the cot up in one movement, and the comfy mattress makes it a cosy sleeping place – at home or wherever your family goes. As such, this is a great option for creating a safe space to pop your baby or toddler down at home or while travelling. We just put the mattress on top and didn’t use the pocket, but I should add my little ones were 16 months old when we started using this travel cot and so the concern of them getting wedged in any gaps around the side of a mattress doesn’t really apply.

The travel cot folds compactly into a carry bag for travel and storage, making it easy to take on the go. If you’re expecting a new arrival, by the way, don’t forget to read our guides to the best baby monitors, the best prams and buggies, the best sterilisers and the best baby carriers.Once folded it is so small that you could even put it under your buggy to take it with you perhaps on a train journey or take it in hand luggage and yet once it is put up it is a normal size travel cot which would be suitable for babies and toddlers. I’ve tried every variation and this is my pick of the best six (but you could also consider Bugaboo, BabyBjörn and Maxi-Cosi).
