Type Queen in the box under the ARTISTA column heading and Greatest Hits II in the box under the TÍTULO column heading. The 17 tracks were universal, with no territorial variations as with the first Greatest Hits compilation. Commonly referred to as the Red Greatest Hits, it features most of the '70s tracks absent from Classic Queen (including " Another One Bites the Dust", "We Will Rock You", "We Are the Champions" and " Killer Queen"). Throughout, the flamboyance and verve of the bands performances shines, highlighting exactly why they remain one of the most popular acts in the world. Note: On the sleeve notes of the video, "We Are the Champions" is incorrectly listed after the two versions of "We Will Rock You". This was due to an aggressive marketing campaign by Hollywood Records, with whom Queen had signed the year before. As a result, the band's back catalog was reissued on CD, and while there were problems with the sound and grievances about certain bonus tracks, it achieved the desired result, and Queen were suddenly big news again in the States.Note: New videos were created for Now I'm Here, Seven Seas Of Rhye and Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy for this collection, as they did not previously have music videos. In the US, Greatest Hits sold moderately well on initial release in 1981, obtaining a platinum certification. Accumulated sales ( Greatest Hits II and Classic Queen for the US and Canada combined) are in excess of 25 million worldwide.

The singles " Body Language", " Back Chat", " Las Palabras de Amor", " Thank God It's Christmas", " Princes of the Universe" and " Scandal" were omitted for this release.Freddie Mercury designed the album cover, using the astrological signs of the band members: a crest made of two Leos, one Cancer and one Virgo. Published on the occasion of the twenty years of English training career (and less than a month before the death of Freddie Mercury! In 1991, Queen sought to issue a second Greatest Hits collection worldwide, this time with a standard track listing. Most of the videos are now available on the DVD Greatest Video Hits 2 with the exception of the videos from the 1991 Innuendo album. Freddie Mercury designed the crest on the album cover, using the astrological signs of the four members: two Leos ( Roger Taylor and John Deacon), one Cancer ( Brian May) and one Virgo (Mercury).

On 19 April 2011, Hollywood Records eventually released the newly remastered version of Greatest Hits II in the United States for the first time individually, [17] thus, superseding Classic Queen in the process and ultimately out of print. As of 2016, 'Greatest Hits II' is the tenth best selling album of all time in the UK, with sales of over 3.Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse.
