Firstly this was a blind read I purposely downloaded it without reading the blurb, (A first for me) the book was recommended on Fb group it had no details just that it was an epic read I added it and it stayed in my library for a bit, I hit a book slump and thought yeah why not. It touches so many bases on mental states its genuis, specially to think who the main male character is as a person its Beautiful. so therefore personally, i won't be reading the other books in the series even though they might be better than this one (as I have heard) but it just wasn't for me at all. i liked how she dealt with killian, she knew what he did was wrong but didn't want to report him because we all know how powerful families protect their own, and how much women heavily rely on evidence to get justice. if i have to hear the word 'lordship' one more time in this series i will commit myself to a psychiatric facility.I love you enough to allow you to have a hold over me when I've never allowed anyone to have the power to destroy me from inside out. I know it triggers some bad memory and reminded him of his past but that still was disappointing considering I love his story.
