About this deal

It is big, colourful, has large grids with different actions and could be entirely replaced by a custom dice, each face of which carries those action spaces. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. You start by shuffling the 12 picture tiles, covering each one with a plastic cover, and distributing them onto the letter-squares. Around the edge of the board is a typical board game style path for players to work their way around based on throws of the die. In just 60 seconds you must memorise the position of the twelve symbol tiles…BUT prepare to be Baffled as the symbols constantly swap and change positions around the board!

I would be satisfied by the argument, that the board and the covers, add to the theme of the game, yet it has none. Great gift choice for the auntie (or Uncle) who’s not sure what their nephews and nieces are playing with - I’ve not got it wrong yet ?

Party Chest Ltd is PCI Compliant, Registered for Data Protection with the ICO and Insured for Product and Public Liability. The trick with games is to actually get the board and other things out of the box first and read the rules in conjunction with them. from popular retailers I would say this is worth having a look at if you're wanting to invest in a new board game. It’s really nice to be able to play with such an interactive and tangible mechanic as this – it keeps the game fresh and means the player is always involved.

This could be three fruit, three numbers, three animals, or the three things that are in your colour group. Baffled is one of those games where I made the mistake of just getting the rules leaflet out first and reading that in isolation to try to get to grips with the game. That includes having bigger boxes to have a more visible place on the board game shelf, and, of course, having appealing components, which one could argue, Baffled has. Each player starts with a maximum of seven lives – you can change this to make the game shorter if you wish. However, as the covers are all individual, the 60 seconds turns into 60 seconds and however long it takes to put the covers back on the tiles. The player must now try to remember the space and respective plastic cover-piece on which the tile is located. You probably won’t want to play a second game straight away as you will still be remembering the positions of the symbols from the end of the previous game. As is fast becoming our measure of whether a family board game is good or not, discussion soon turned to whether my mum would enjoy the game. There is also a square where you can ask one of the other players to either find a specific symbol, or say what is hidden at a specific position – but choose carefully, because if they get it right, YOU lose a life!

In just 60 seconds you must memorize the position of the twelve symbol tiles… BUT prepare to be Baffled as the symbols constantly swap and change positions around the board! There are three sets: numbers, animals, and fruits, each with a symbol in red, blue, yellow and green. THE GOOD TOY GUIDE LTD (trading as Good Play Guide and FUNdamentally Children), Registered in England and Wales Company Number.

The winner isn’t the person who knows the most but instead it’s the person who tries the hardest to memorise the tiles. I’m a big fan of board games so I’m really pleased that my tweens seem to have my enthusiasm for them too. In this fun board game, contestants have just 60 seconds to memorise the position of the twelve symbol tiles before they get covered up. How exciting to be on safari, trying to spot all your favorite animals… but, hang on, one of them has wandered off!
