Initially I thought I received a damaged product since sound buttons were not working, even tried after changing battery position. You just can't *not* love the story of the Gruffalo with its delicious rhymes and sly central character. I was a little disappointed as it only makes noises of the animals when the music notes are pushed I find it hard to push never mind a four year old. The sounds themselves are not the most exciting (fox sniffing, owl hooting, tummy rumbling) but they make the story a bit more engaging.
