I really wanted to see how the Mach V1 Ultra would perform on hard floors—and it did not disappoint. Sticking to the manufacturer's recommendation to keep the main body of the vacuum at a 35-40° angle to the ground and follow the vacuum's forward traction made the process much easier. According to the specs, if used in Smart mode, the Ultra V1’s built-in battery is sufficient for up to 82 minutes of vacuuming and mopping, and that’s damn good in my book.Of course, one of the great things about most modern cordless vac-mops is that they can clean themselves after each outing. The vacuum can clean wet and dry messes at the same time, so I didn’t have to vacuum first and then retrace my steps to mop and steam. I was impressed with the amount of dust and dirt the eufy Mach V1 Ultra was able to lift from the carpet, including long hair, with none getting tangled around the rollers. While it looks like a sleek, heavy-duty cordless stick vac, there's a roller built into the base of the vacuum and a detachable tank you fill with water in the vacuum's midsection.

For daily use, once the Eufy Mach V1 Ultra has been used for cleaning, it should be dropped into the dock, and then its self-cleaning mode button should be used. Refill of water for self cleaning is needed after running through the whole house, which is no big deal since it just takes 30 seconds. However, if you frequently vacuum and mop the floors in your house, you’ll save a lot of time and elbow grease with the super-productive Mach V1 Ultra. To start cleaning with the V1 Ultra, you need to remove the clean water tank, open a rubber cover, fill it with tap water to the max water line, then lock it back into place on the vacuum. The Mach V1 Ultra's smart mode is suitable for daily mopping and hard floor washing, and is turned on by default. I tried it on a short-pile rug and it seemed to clean it well enough, but when I dumped out the moisture that got sucked up, assorted detritus was added to the mix and things looked a bit nasty.
