About this deal

I know the Yamaha HS7 's aren't the be all and end all of studio monitors but from what I've heard is that they have a good revealing and tight quality about them in the mid range, which is what I'm looking for when it comes to mixing. Unlike conventional and commonly found speakers that operate according to the piston principle, ART speakers (and Adam’s corresponding X-ART, S-ART, and U-ART models, the latter of which is installed in the Adam T8V) feature a pleated membrane design that moves air four times faster, from which the name “Accelerating Ribbon Technology” is derived.

The Adam Audio T7V is a mid-range studio monitor designed to meet the demands of producers and engineers with small-to-mid room spaces, kitted out with some of Adam's most forward-thinking technology and features. The T7V Studio Monitor features two 3-way fine-tune switches that allow you to boost or cut high/low frequencies, enabling you to tailor the monitor to the room and position it's in. I can honestly say they sound great and look fantastic in my setup and I am thoroughly happy with these studio monitors! I was thinking of getting a pair but I like my T7V's and I don't know yet if I have any issues with the midrange and translation.

For smaller rooms, the five‑inch T5V is a viable alternative, and while the T Series speakers are designed to provide full‑range coverage, they can also be used in conjunction with ADAM’s Sub8 subwoofer to create a 2. The ADAM Sub8 subwoofer is the perfect match to complement the T7V, to extend the capabilities of monitoring in the bottom end.

If you purchase our extended warranty for this product, we'll extend the money-back guarantee period to 180 days and the warranty period to 10 years.

tl;dr: Both Yamaha's very clear and informative sounding, the HS7 lacks a bit on the lower frequencies which the HS8 does not. On the rear side of the T7V’s bevelled cabinet, a rear-firing bass reflex port joins a sturdy metal backplate that’s home to the analogue input connections. I had 4 mattresses lying around so I built a little half cubical around my desk and this made the sound not drop out at important frequencies. The Adam T7V is a highly affordable two-way nearfield monitor perfectly optimised for small control rooms.

They are designed to provide realistic and affordable acoustic absorption and reverberation control within most types of rooms and spaces. Please give us the reason for your assessment in the following text box and – if possible – your e-mail address for further questions. The Mercury-2 kit is also available in alternative colours (or mixed colours) - colours available are charcoal, blue, burgundy, red, white and purple. If you are approved for a credit limit with PayPal Credit and use it for future purchases, the APR for those purchases won't be more than 23. Their previous 'budget' model the F series had this, so all the PR talk about doing this to keep the cost low is simply not true.
