In a cocktail shaker, mix Deadhead rum, pineapple brandy, Trader Vic’s macadamia nut liqueur, coconut water, and lime juice. The rum itself is a blend of sugar cane juice and molasses - it is double-distilled and matured in European oak barrels for six years before being expertly blended to achieve the desired rich, spicy flavour profile. To celebrate Deadhead's ten years of commitment to making the very finest rum and putting Méxican rum its rightful place on the global rum map, they asked their master blender Jorge to create a 10th. Served in a coupe glass with a small amount of crushed ice, add the ingredients to shaker with cubes ice and then strain into coupe.

Deadhead Rum shakes hands with Xtabentun, a Yucatan liqueur of honey and anise, for a refreshing partnership made in Mayan history. Decadent dark chocolate flavor comes to the forefront on the first sip, layered with a back note of Bing cherry and cream soda. Not great but it hits you with some sweetness and vanilla/toffee tones which then fades into a rather decent burn.
