It's light, has grip pads underneath and comes with Ableton Live Launchpad Edition (which is very similar to Ableton Lite, I haven't installed it, but it should be Live 8. Some mention that it's very simple to pick up if you know your software well, while others say that the software is also a bit complicated to learn and you have to figure it out yourself or watch videos on.
