If the bottom does get punctured the repair patch will not be exposed to rubbing as on a normal inflatable. Neither of us fancy being blown offshore, our only hope to flag down a passing fishing boat to bring us back!
The paddles supplied are pretty small and the connector nipples are right where I felt my hands should be.I was wondering if you sat in the front as a single user how it would do we will test and let you know lol as long as we don’t drown in it .

With any watercraft the wearing of a correctly sized and fitted Personal Floatation Device is necessary and should always be used.I just put it together in our yard and it looks fine for what we plan, just a bit of fun, no death-defying paddling across the channel, dodging tankers. The river (Devon) which runs into the Forth is where I use mine and it is quite shallow / stoney at parts. They did these last year in blue - I bought one, only used as a beach toy really, in preference to a plastic dinghy.
