For others like me who may not know much about the world of high level competitive sports, I learned a lot.Clover is a jounralist that just won an award for her film on Cory, a pro surfer who suffered a career ending accident. However, Kit’s arm has been twisted to accommodate them at the chalet where he and his household are living, but the anger, resentment and resistance are palpable. This really took me on a rollercoaster of emotions as the story played out, and I felt I lived the book with the characters.
