While they weren't really seen together often, Jade did Robin's makeup for the Radiant Week project so it is assumed they know each other or are friends. While she was initially unsure of Amaya, due to her being Bella's replacement, Poppy grew to appreciate Amaya as part of her runway group. That being said, they do not interact one on one much. Jade's original prototype doll had darker skin and a very different style. It bears a strong resemblance to Karma Nichols, leading some fans to speculate that the prototype's design was eventually reworked into the latter's final doll.

While not initially together very often, Poppy and Jade are good friends that often hang out together and listen to music. The heeled sandals featured in her secondary outfit are inspired by designs by Sophia Webster, whose various butterfly heels have become a signature of the company. Jade had proven herself to be a levelheaded and reasonable person, as seen when she attempted to talk Bella out of sacrificing her future at Rainbow High for a potential internship. Despite her rough exterior, Jade also has a sensitive side- especially when it comes to her work. She's very protective of her work and can take critiques personally. She expresses her emotions openly and can't hide them when she's feeling hurt or frustrated. Fortunately, she doesn't take her frustrations out on her friends. Rather, she saves her anger for those she feels deserve it. Jade also has a somewhat guarded exterior - it seems to take a lot to gain her trust. Even though Violet and Ruby are seeing a new character. She is proclaimed to be the most talented first-year fashion designer that Rainbow High has seen in a long time. Her appearance is similar to Blue Skye's appearance from the similar franchise Rainbow Surprise; because of this, she might be inspired by Blue Skye.

Her name was Poppy Harlow in the ending credits of " When the GLAM Hits The Fan", It was later confirmed that it was a writer's mistake.

Just like Poppy, Sunny is close with Skyler due to the three of them being roommates. The two are frequently seen together and enjoy each other's company, with Skylar helping cheer Sunny up on her first day of school. Poppy Rowan is a 2020-introduced and all-around character. She is a student at Rainbow High that focuses in Music Engineering with a special interest in Art of Music. Poppy is the monarch of music at Rainbow High. She flutters between genres, but always comes up with something that's fresh and new. Everyone at Rainbow High looks up to her bold taste in music and creative ear for new beats. She's the go-to DJ for everything at Rainbow High, because she knows that the right music can set the vibe for the entire event. Poppy is the social butterfly of the group, and her easy-going personality means she fits in just about everywhere.

Poppy has Synesthesia, which is a neurological condition that connects senses to each other. In Poppy's instance, this means she can see what she hears, which is why she loves connecting music to art. [5] She and Skyler have a more casual relationship compared to the other girls, as they are roommates. In particular when Sunny first came to Rainbow High, she and Skyler worked together to cheer her up and make her feel right at home.
