About this deal

She loves her sisters but just doesn’t know how to take care of them when she can barely take care of herself. She underestimates herself and what she would and wouldn’t do. She’s the biggest overthinker which is so very relatable, and it’s why I appreciate her inner monologue so much. It feels very realistic, especially with what she’s battling. Moore: There is a lot more to come on the dusty Texas horizon for Garrett Kohl. I recently finished the fourth book in the series, and now I’m outlining his next adventures for books five and six. So, it looks like there will be no rest for either of us anytime soon. All in all i am super excited and can't wait to read the rest of the books. Lilooo i am living for you babeess <3 In this companion novel, Lo and Lily were apart and they were working on getting rid of their addiction-- Lo being in a rehab miles away while Lily being celibate and spending her time with her sisters Rose and Daisy. You know the moment you’ll close a series it’s gonna hurt when first, you regret not giving a five star to the previous book while reading glimpses of the protagonists’ relationship since their very start and actually thinking how it’s gonna be hard to say goodbye to the characters when you are only going through the second of ten books or so long series.

h (heroine) rating: 3 stars. Elise. She was alright. She kept her truths close when I felt like she needed to come clean sooner. Overall, it met my expectations, it made laugh and feel as the emotions were deff felt here given the writing and this being lily's personal journey with her recovery, and I’m so ready for Lo’s pov finally.little to no romance. Brown smashed all of the romance together in at the end (after the 85% mark or so). It came off as more of an add-on so this book could be billed as “romantic suspense” 💁‍♀️ This book centers around our Hero and is more of a mystery thriller. Nearly all of the suspenseful action and character development centers around him, and there is very little said about the heroine here. What is mentioned about her I didn’t particularly care for, and by the end of the story I actually wanted our H to find a new love interest and walk off into the sunset with a new leading lady. I just loved them together SO much!! As I mentioned before, they're exactly the kind of couple that I love to read about. In this book we see them both trying to get better and rid themselves of their addictions. But the road is not easy and they each have their own battles to fight but what gets them through is holding on to their unshakable love for each other.

Safety: This one is probably Not Safe for most safety gang readers depending on personal preferences. With all of that, Elise is an enigma, a mystery. The reader is never really sure of her motivations, of her fears, nor is the reader exactly sure where her loyalties lie. It’s an open-and-shut case: Elise, the judge’s beautiful trophy wife, interrupted a burglary and killed the intruder in self-defense. Yet Duncan is suspicious of the beautiful woman’s story of innocence and his gut tells him her account of the shooting is only partially true.it's the kind of story you just cannot help but fall in love with. a story about two people who are deeply in love with each other fighting as hard as they can to overcome the obstacles in their lives. With Lily and Lo’s dysfunctional relationship teetering and unbalanced, they will need to find a way to reconnect from miles apart. But the inability to “touch” proves to be one of the hardest tests on their road to recovery. Some love brushes the surface. Some love is deeper than skin. Love triangle: No. Elise does not love her husband and you learn more details on that as the book progresses. I don't want to say anymore and ruin the plot
