About this deal

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS:1 Degree beam angle, Wired Digital Communication Network, IEC Power Cord Daisy Chain 20 units @ 120V, Multi-voltage operation: AC 100~240V, 50/60Hz, 12.5” x 12.5” x 16.25”, 8 lbs., 55W Power Consumption. Part of the American DJ Startec Series, the Starburst is a LED sphere effect that rotates to your music while shooting out super-sharp, multi-color beam effects. With a light source consisting of five 15W HEX (RGBWA+Purple) LEDs, the Starburst provides access to a wider pallet of colors than previously possible, giving you the flexibility and creative scope to entrance your audience with unique hues and attention-grabbing effects.

The American DJ Starburst now has a light source of five 15W HEX (RGBWA+Purple) LEDs, which is what sets it apart from similar, less advanced models like ADJ’s Spherion Tri LED, and is why you can now access such a myriad of new colours, useful for any creative and innovative DJ. With a light source consisting of five 15W HEX (RGBW+Yellow+Purple) LEDs, the Starburst provides access to a wider pallet of colours than previously possible, giving you the flexibility and creative scope to entrance your audience with unique hues and attention-grabbing effects. FEATURES:

LIGHTWEIGHT AND EASY TO MOUNT: Either mounted individually or daisy-chained to connect several units, this super lightweight 8 lb. unit is easy to connect to truss, stand or can be placed on the floor.

MULTI-MODE OPERATIONAL: This VERSATILE lighting unit can be used as a stand alone unit in Auto Run, Pulse to music in Sound Active Mode, or for more diverse control it can be DMX Programmed through 12 channels. However, I am returning the light. After less than an hour of testing the light, the yellow LEDs stopped working. It's very odd, because it's not just one LED on one side, but ALL of the yellow LEDs. I can't bring them up with a DMX controller, and I can't bring them up manually (using the buttons right on the unit). At first, I considered ignoring this problem -- after all, it's just the yellow LED, and how critical is that? When LED lights only had RGB, you could get yellow with the right mix of red and green, right? But after thinking some more... is this just an isolated fluke, or a sign of more problems to come? If the yellow LED failed the first day, after less than an hour, I'm worried about how reliable the rest of them are. I can't take any chances of this thing failing completely in the middle of a wedding. DJkit presents ADJ’s Starburst LED sphere as the ideal light product for the inventive artist and the perfect way to add individual flare to your show. FEATURES:

CREATE A STUNNING EFFECT: The Startec Starburst from ADJ Products is a futuristic rotating mirror ball that shoots out 34 highly powerful beams of 15W LED multi-colored light to transform any space. Five Color Sphere LED effect light with very sharp and intense beams of light that bounce and rotate to the music. The 5 HEX-LEDs gives you a wide pallet of colors never possible before. The Starburst is larger and heavier than I expected, but it is very impressive in terms of what it can do. The lights are brighter (but not too bright) and I like being able to control the speeds and colors through DMX just like I already do with the rest of my lights.
