Each can be taken as a unit of 1 or as a unit of 3, with the Chaos Chariot counting as battleline.

Every good Grey Seer needs a catastrophically powerful weapon to gamble on in the heat of battle, a role filled by the Warp Lightning Cannon . This techno-arcane weapon fires devastating bolts of pure warp lightning at its foes, erasing whole units and giant monsters alike in an emerald green flash!

In general, this is a great first box and if you can find a use for the hero, it may be worth even a second box. Both Chaos Knights and Chaos Warriors are battleline for this army. In conclusion this is a good set, a great replacement of the previous one and an excellent starting point for a Slaves to Darkness army. Even buying the second box would not be a sin.
