What We’re looking for in Wood Sage & Sea SaltTo my nose the opening has more of a bergamot note than grapefruit, but overall the citrus mixed with sea salt structure is still there. The sage really comes through in the drydown bringing a pleasing earthiness, and overall, I find this fragrance to be just a touch less sweet than Jo Malone. This dupe line seems to be a bit of a mystery. Still, I was pretty intrigued by this Wood Sage & Sea Salt-inspired fragrance.

The fragrance gets warmer towards the middle notes, and includes dark, green components that add depth to it. From the dry wormwood to the herbal essences of patchouli and the powerful spice of the clove- the middle grabs the essence of the earth. Such an intoxicating smell. Clean, edgy, a bit of musk and non offensive that anyone can wear, it reminds me of a really wild, windswept cliff edge overlooking a wild ocean. It's also suitable to wear any time of the year, any time of the day. It smells delicious. In addition to that, Jenny Glow’s perfumes are all natural eau de parfums- supporting the source of their inspiration. The fair price points of the perfumes and their performance in terms of longevity and strength make them well loved by plenty. Getting warmer at the base, the fragrance ends with a trio. The sensual aroma of vanilla brings in its heat, complemented by the honey-like amber and the strong, earthy musk- three ingredients that come together to create one attractive fragrance.
