About this deal

The Crais family. Finnula's siblings have distinct personalities and I would have liked to see more of them. Royal Crush (set after Royal Wedding) – Olivia Grace Clarisse Mignonette Harrison is turning thirteen. Even better, she’s finally starting to get the hang of this princess thing. Just in time, too, since her half-sister, Princess Mia Thermopolis, is expected to give birth to twins any day now! It was also hilarious to look at some of these characters due to spoiler purposes, and sobering too (especially if you read about a certain character’s death from the excerpt posted from Royal Wedding).

Librarian note: AKA Jenny Carroll (1-800-Where-R-You series), AKA Patricia Cabot (historical romance novels). The earliest two books in the series are the ‘Princess Diaries’ released in October 2000. The second publication of the series was the second volume entitled “Princess in the Spotlight” that was released in June 2001. It is also known as the Take 2. Obviously, this is a book about how fictional “haves” survived the pandemic, frequently with Mia downing wine at 11 am, predicting that the next book will probably be called: Rehab Princess. I was sad that Princess Mia had given up being a vegetarian/pescatarian because that seemed like an ideal she should have maintained and such an easy one to keep. But she does keep her friends and realizes just how important family and friends are. And maybe that’s the most important conclusion that the pandemic brought to us all.

Did we miss something on diversity?

Quarantine Princess Diaries doubles as an informative read about covid and what we can do to stop the pandemic The other day I read something about doing more Princess Diaries movies. Well, turns out there already are some materials available for inspiration. What’s the Princess Diaries series about? So you can imagine my excitement when I heard that Meg was releasing a new one, I think I actually squealed and started going “ Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God” non stop. hahaha My friend called me one night at 1 am and started talking about this book. She read this book during her teenage life and it was very exciting to her at that time. I was so down that day, sad and miserable really. So when she was telling me this light, fluffy romantic story, I felt like this is what I really needed right now. She described the whole story for 2 hours. It will forever be a beautiful memory for me. If you are totally left-wing, you will love this book-if you are very strongly right-wing, you may hate it. Hopefully, you are somewhere in the middle and will find you enjoy the messages you will receive from this novel.

Cry, Linda, Cry: Judy Blume’s Blubber and the Cruelest Thing in the World” in Everything I Needed to Know About Being A Girl I Learned from Judy Blume (April 2009) Kate the Great” in 13: Thirteen Stories That Capture the Agony and Ecstasy of Being Thirteen (September 2006) I read this book years and years and years ago. I remember thinking I'd start it as a silly read and ... being pleasantly surprised. I had fond memories of this book so when it showed up on my library's app feed as an available audiobook... and I saw that it was narrated by Anne Hathaway, I was feeling nostalgic. I borrowed it. Such a charming little book … I would have been so in love with this series if I had read it as a teenager … Jet? He’s hired a private jet? Who does he think he is all of a sudden, Christian Grey? I am not okay with this. I'm not some shy virginal college student who only owns one shirt."The Princess Diaries is what got me into YA in the first place. I grew up with Mia's obsession with her A-cup boobs, attending royal functions, witnessing her mom marry her Algebra teacher, snagging Michael (and losing him five books later), battle depression, and her ultimate happy ending. Forever Princess remains my favorite Princess Diaries book to date. Racist (a dance celebrating cultural and racial diversity is described as "stupid", and a whole subplot is devoted to how racist Asian people supposedly are), sexist (sexual harrassment and groping are portrayed as things girls want), transphobic (one of my status updates had a charming quote illustrating this), and very, very heteronormative.

Ultimately, the book is short and fun but I don’t think it was necessary for Princess Mia’s legacy. I am in my final year of my PhD and my brain is basically mush now. It is being powered by a hamster running on a wheel and occasionally boosted with energy drinks. Therefore, I will present my review in the form of easily digestible bullet points of what I enjoyed and didn't enjoy about this book: She did warn me about the ending. She said this book has a crappy ending. I listened to her anyway. When she hung up, I really wanted to read the story by myself (even though I know the whole thing already. I JUST HAD TO READ IT MYSELF.) So I did. And I stopped right at chapter 11. I could sense this is where things start to go downward. Grandmère believes that Ron Weasley, not Voldemort, is the villain of the Harry Potter series." (163) I don't know what's happening to me. I lie when I should tell the truth, and tell the truth when I lie." (4)

stars. The Princess Diaries series has always had the unusual ability to be both more and less than meets the eye, and this volume is no exception.
