I wanted to wear Touch to a friend's dinner party, but I just couldn't. I zealously applied it to my skin when I got home and was met with a pungent lemongrass odor. Like many people, I think Touch resembles baby powder, but the lemongrass took me by surprise because it's not listed as one of the notes. Lemongrass is often used in Asian cooking, so I don't usually have a problem with it. I think the issue here is my skin. I bought Touch without first spraying it on my body. I know it's a silly mistake, but I'm still a newbie at this. I will probably make a few blunders every now and then. I like the smell but I LOVE the usage as this CANNOT offend people and if you dont want people to smell you or just get subtle wafts of you this is for you. The petrichor smell is I think the violet leaf, which I don't have a reference point on. Apparently violet leaf smells earthy and ozonic so I believe that's exactly the case. This fragrance is so innocuous it made me wonder why anyone would spend the money and wear it. It is a bit like Cashmere Mist only it's more insipid than that.

Burberry Touch for Men is pretty easy to wear, and you can hardly go wrong with such a fantastic fragrance. Burberry Touch is an Eau de Toilette formulation and is available in three sizes: 3.4/1.7/1oz (100/50/30ml). As a rule of thumb, you should get 10 sprays per 1ml of fragrance. So the smallest size will give you around 300 sprays and the largest treats you to 900! There is a good reason why Burberry Touch for men has been a signature scent for many guys over the past 20 years. There are two sizes to choose from. The 1.7oz is ideal for guys that aren’t sure what they like in a cologne. It’s the right amount to try the scent for a few weeks or months, depending on how often you use the fragrance. I had a co worker comment that it smells like clean skin and another said it smelled like fresh air. Another reviewer described it as clothes dried in the fresh air on a clothes line and that is spot on.Faintly sweet, fine powder and wonderful, clean musk. This sits just close enough to skin as not to offend and is sweetened just enough to make it inviting. Burberry Touch is a basic fresh clean powdery scent with the main notes for me being Musk and Tonka. I find it an inexpensive easy grab scent to wear while shopping and running errands during the warmer months. I like to use Touch as an after shower bedtime scent as well. Was immediately surprised by how different this was to my expectations based on the spicy fresh accord Fragrantica shows. I would maybe call this spicy dry. Probably the first fragrance I would classify as 'dusty' (in a good way). Men and women of all ages will appreciate the fresh scent of Burberry cologne. It was created to bridge the gap between strong masculine scented colognes and floral ones. The lighter scent also makes the cologne ideal for young guys new to wearing cologne. Even when it’s over-applied, it’s still not overbearing. Several colognes have similar notes, but their fragrances are heavier and more masculine. Allure Sport by Chanel is one example, but the closest is Burberry Brit cologne.
