As you might expect, more expensive wireless headphones like the Bose QuietComfort 35 II and Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 2 do a better job at conveying a sense of space and the timbre of instruments like the violin and cymbals, and to that end the Hesh 3 sounds wooden and two dimensional when compared to its more high-end competitors. Skullcandy is light on accessories here. There's a micro USB charging cable and a 3.5mm audio cable, both of which connect to the right earcup. Though there's no included tote or case, the earcups do swivel and fold down into a compact size for easy stowing. The treble has an unfortunate side-effect, though: it magnifies hiss and digital noise. There’s a frequency spike in the upper registers. It doesn’t sit in the same register that causes sibilance, but it does highlight digital noise introduced by either the Bluetooth transmission or the DAC. It could be either, but since the Hesh 3 don’t support the higher-quality aptX codec, it could well be the Bluetooth stream at fault.
On the other hand, the tightness gives a great seal, so the isolation is top notch. Ear pads are soft and good quality, although heat does build inside up when worn for long periods. Specs Zooming into the midrange, the mids are slightly more recessed than the lower mids and upper mids. It has a tinge of warmth but it leans more towards the brighter end (detailed sound). Skullcandy has the basics nailed down. Bluetooth stability is very good and at 22 hours battery life is solid. The headphones offer rapid charging, too. Five minutes of charging from flat gets you 90 minutes’ use. Female vocals shine slightly brighter than male vocals as it brings out the details in them more clearly. I felt Skullcandy could have done a better job with the headband. It could have been longer and more flexible. The current design grips far too tightly and may cause discomfort to the ears, especially during longer listening sessions. We scrutinized the Skullcandy Hesh 3 headphones to bring you “breaking” news. People with big head might wanna look away. Vocals (especially female) are very sweet sounding to the ears as the treble causes it to sound airy and detailed. However, more bass could have been “injected” into the headphones to make the sound signature more energetic.The mic offers solid intelligibility. Using the Voice Memos app on an iPhone 6s, we could understand every word we recorded, although the audio was laced with typical artifacts, making it fuzzy in spots. Le-am trimis in garantie si am primit o pereche noua, din cate am inteles a fost o problema intampinata de mai multi utilizatori, fiind generata de calitate inferioara a plasticului folosit in componenta. Totul fain, astazi, dupa vreo 8-9 luni de utilizare, mi s-a rupt banda de plastic prin care poti regla castile(de la a doua pereche), castile nemaifiind in garantie. Despite being a V-shaped sounding headphone, it is not really your typical V-shape where full-bodied bass hits hard where you can feel your heart thumping to the beat. It really takes on a more relaxed type of bass while giving enough quantity. Hence, it is more suited for pop and vocal/acoustic but not for EDM as it does not get your feet tapping. Portability is definitely a factor when considering these as part of your everyday carry for your daily commute to school, to work, or to shut out your naggy spouse…
ore fara intrerupere te poti bucura de castile Skullcandy Hesh 3, iar in 10 minute de incarcare vei avea inca 4 ore de utilizare datorita tehnologiei Rapid Charge. The Skullcandy Hesh 3 suffer different problems to some of their rivals. They sound better than the JBL E55BT, Sony XB-650BT and Motorola Escape Pulse+, offering cleaner bass or better mid-range clarity. Or both. In terms of a feature set, the Skullcandy Hesh 3 are a basic pair of headphones: You won’t find active noise cancellation, auto play/pause, or multipoint Bluetooth here. It’s annoying that the Hesh 3 can’t connect simultaneously to two devices at once but it’s par for the course in this price range. If you’ve got small ears then this is unlikely to be a problem. This is one instance when it might be wise to try before you buy.Presumably because of the price these headphones are going for, there is no NFC function to allow one-tap-pairing with your NFC enabled smartphone or player. Thus, you would have to do it the old-fashion way by turning on the Bluetooth on your device and pairing the Hesh 3 manually. Please note that your device should automatically connect to the headphones for the subsequent connections if Bluetooth is activated on both the source device and headphones.
