Create an environment that evokes feelings of bliss and cultivates a desire to make journaling an established routine and healthy habit! The best thing about journaling is its positive effect when practiced often. Down side? If there is one, maybe needs a place to store your writing instrument. I simply use a rubber band to hold mine inside the journal itself....that's no biggie to me and something consistent I have noticed with all journals. What are the positive things you see in them that you are missing yourself? How can you improve these qualities in yourself? Are they really good friends who genuinely care about you? If you recognize someone as toxic, is there a way you could help them be more positive? Or maybe it’s better to minimize your communication and make new friends? Positivity journaling is an excellent self-care exercise that helps you focus on the things that are good in your life, things that are going well, and the many things to be grateful for that are right in front of you.

For something as easy as a smile to be so powerful! That’s why I include this in my list of positive things to do every day to feel happier. Think about the children in your life who you love, they might be your own, or nieces, nephews, etc. Write down the lessons you’d like to teach them about body positivity. You could set aside some time towards the end of each day to get students to each write something in their positive journals.Positivity journaling is a great way to place your focus on all the good things in your life. Big things and small things alike, anything that puts a smile on your face can provide you with an opportunity to push away negativity and focus on positivity.
