That's more of a personal preference, but I wasn't a huge fan of the smut. The BDSM wasn't hardcore, but ehh still wasn't great. I can take it if the H is called "Sir" in bed, but I hate the word "Master".. so I was like nope peace out. 🏃🏻‍♀️ This is not because I love the writer, but it is because the rest of the book is so wonderful that I cannot deduct more than that. Therefore, with -1.5 for BDSM, 3.5 stars it is for me and I am rounding it up to 4. I'm usually not someone who ask for a lot of angst, but here I needed something. Everything went too well for Sloane and Declan. Even near the end when Sloane got taken away, it wasn't like Sloane and Declan broke up or anything. They pretty much worked well together to defeat the enemy, but I just wanted them to fight or something. 🏃🏻‍♀️ I’m probably going to die with only you for company. Can you blame me for being upset?” His eyes are narrowed, doubtful, arctic blue.

This is by far one of my favorite series. I feel like each book is my favorite, but in their own way.

I loved all things Declan O’Donnell, but his insatiable carnal sexual prowess had me swooning.

We all want to know who we will be reading about, right? And for a book as steamy as this one, we just can’t get enough patience to figure it out in the long run. So, have fun navigating through the world of the main characters of Carnal Urges’ book. 1. Sloane I LOVED this book! 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀 is a captive, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, age gap romance with the best banter between the hero and heroine! This book had me laughing so hard. This isn’t a romcom, however the dry wit and humor is perfection. The chemistry and banter between the hero and heroine made this book flow so easily I read it at one sitting. Why is that? Is there really such a big demand for BDSM from some readers that almost everyone is trying to include that in their romance books to a certain level?! Even if so, they are risking losing their devoted fans. The book begins with a scene that continues from Book 1 so if you haven’t read Book 1, don’t start the series with this one, read Book 1 first.
