I would like to read the first book in the series to see if that would help me to understand this better. The mysterious adventures begins when Edward left for Mongolia to watch the Great Dragon Battle Ceremony with his uncle while his mum is unable to believe this. Eddie has travelled with his uncle Morton to Mongolia, in hope of being one of the few to watch the Great Dragon Battle. This book was easy and quick to read and probably suited to someone younger than 9 but I still really enjoyed reading it! Meanwhile, back at home, Mum can't quite believe her son has really run off to Mongolia, and now she has been left with the tricky task of dragonsitting.
